The Song with Walla Walla Wash.

Hi,,,,,,,,,,,I am trying to remember a country song about this guy who goes to prison in Walla Walla Wash. I don't know who sings it, or why, (in the song) the guy was imprisoned, or anything else about it, other than it was a country song and it had a good beat, and was on the charts (I am guessing) about 30 yrs. ago. I am sorry to have so little info on it, but I am hoping that someone could help me. Thanks for any and all replies. John

RE: anyone else getting a scooter for local transport?

Two years ago I had a 115 cc Kinetic Nova (cost about $3300). It would take 2-up and would go about 45 MPH that way. With only me, it would go about 50 MPH. Great gas mi. and fun to ride. After a year I wanted something bigger,,,,so I got a Yamaha 400 cc Majesty ( cost $4300)(loved it). They were both automatic and would go great (easy to operate). Here in Canada you need a MC lisence when the CC's are more than 50 cc's. Either of those could be taken with you on a front-mounted class 4 hitch 1 ton truck. Then I got serious and bought a 650 Yamaha V Star, and I love it. Now I am looking for a toy hauler to take the MC with us. Get something that suits your needs and what you feel you can handle for the next few years. John

Hauling Motorcycle On Lift

Hi,,,,,I am about to buy a 35' toyhauler (doesn't matter what make) to haul my Mc. I have been thinking about putting the MC (a cruiser) on a MC lift (after removing the lift wheels) and raising it a few inches off the floor and then tying the MC down with ratchet straps. Has anyone tried this? It would take any pressure off the tires and shocks, and provide stability as well. We will be travelling about 2400 mi. before I take it out of the TH. I want to take the lift along with us (fulltimers) and might just as well put it to good use. OK,,,now shoot me down :W I probably forgot something. :h but, that's about it. John

Spears Escort? HUH???

Just seen on the news that Spears had an escort (including 4 motorcycle cops, and a helicopter) to the hospital. Now my question is this,,,,,,,who is paying for this? Is it her, because if it is her, then that would take away from the regular policing by these cops. If it is the taxpayer, then there should be some SERIOUS questions asked. Can anyone give me a plausible answer? JM2C
